Health, Dental and Vision Plans
- Coverage for Full-time Employees (34+ hours per week) is available the first of the month following 30 days employment.
- Employee’s portion of premiums (all 3 plans) is paid with Pre-tax wages.
Retirement Plan (401k)
- Full-time and Part-time Employees may start Pre-tax contributions on hire.
- PCH Contributions begin after 1 year employment and having worked 1,000 hours.
- Immediate vesting - Employee and Employer Contributions.
FSA (Flexible Spending Accounts) - Medical & Dependent Care
- Full-time and Part-time Employee may start on hire a Pre-tax savings account for their out-of-pocket, allowable expenses during the calendar year for health-related and dependent care costs (household limits $5k).
Long Term Disability
- PHS pays 100% for Full-time and Part-time employee.
Life & Accident Insurance
- PCH provides Full-time Employee a Term Life and AD&D policy equal to 1x annual salary.
Optional Life & Accident Insurance
- Full-time and Part-time Employee may elect to purchase at group rates Life and AD&D policies for themselves, their Spouse, and/or their Child(ren) - premiums are payroll deducted.
Paid Holidays
- Full-time employee has 6 Holidays (national recognized) and 3 Personal Holidays available to them each year with no waiting period.
- Part-time employee working a national recognized Holiday (see above) will be paid time and a half for all hours worked on the day.
Paid Vacation Benefits
- Full-time employee accrues 2 weeks/year (1 - 5 years); 3 weeks/year (6 - 15 years); 4 weeks/year (16 - 25 years); & 5 weeks/year (25+ years).
- Part-time employee receives pro-rated accrual based on hrs worked.
- Following 6 months employment may use ½ total annual Vacation accrual.
Paid Sick Benefits
- Full-time employee accrues 4.038 hours per pay period of Short term sick time (pay for 2 or less shifts off) & Long-term sick time (pay for 3 or more shifts off).
- Maximum balance of 52.5 Short term sick time & 900 hours Long term sick time.
- Part-time employee accrues only Short-term sick time based on hours worked. On reaching 52.5 hours Short term sick time, any excess is rolled into a Long term sick time account, & time continues to accrue in Short term account.
Shift & Weekend Differentials
- Non-exempt (hourly) employees receive the following differentials for worked hours: Shift Differential - 8% added for hours worked 7:00p.m. to 7:00a.m. Monday - Sunday, and Weekend Differential - 5% added for hours worked 12:01a.m. Saturday - 12:00a.m. Sunday.
Memberships
- AAA Travel Club - basic membership provided to Full-time employee.
- Enhanced membership may be purchased above basic membership and payroll deduct premiums.
- Part-time employee may purchase basic membership at group rate and payroll deduct premiums.
Services/Discounts
- Employee, and their immediate family member, receives 20% Discount for medical services received at PCH/PHS - unpaid portion not covered by insurance.
- Discounted memberships at area Health Clubs.
